"Today we got class pictures and later on, half way before school ended, the people in band, orchestra, and choir got to take a picture." -Savahna

"Today we did High/Low at the end of the day and we sat on the carpet instead of in our seats and at the end we talked about how babies cry and how it's annoying! Also, in the pacer, Tristin and I got 101 laps and I was the last girls and the second person. My goal was to beat Tristin." -Haylie

"We had ELA rotations and I went to Mrs. Thompson's. She had a sub, Mrs. Feist. It was awesome!" -Tayah

"On the bars today, I kept falling off. I fell off at second recess and I landed on my head where me and Caydence bonked heads really hard, but I wouldn't stop doing back flips!" -Lilith

"During pictures, I got a nickname and I forgot what it was. Then Erin asked what hers was and he gave her the exact same one. It was Lindy-Loo." -Caydence

"I didn't know it was picture day and it turns out I've taken 3 pictures and I'm going to have to do one more for Bloomsday club!" -Liz

"In math rotations, I was in Mrs. Gil's rotation and we worked on decimals a lot." -Lila

"In PE, we did the Pacer. You could either vote for curl ups or the Pacer Test and we all voted for the Pacer. It was a lot of running!" -Erin

"When we did the Math is Cool picture, Ben's dog, Ginger, ran out right as we were taking the picture!" -Tristin

"Me and Erin made a bet that if she could run farther than me, she could take my cinnamon roll at lunch and she won!" -Katie

"At recess, I played four square. At first recess, there were a lot of people in line!" -Savahna

"At second recess, I learned how to do the froggy on the yellow bars. The first couple times I fell off and hit my head really hard, but then I got the hang of it and I could do 10 in a row!" -Lilith

"In PE, we were practicing pitching like in softball. I was doing an overhand toss and I got the ball stuck in the basketball hoop and Miss Sandy had to get it down!" -Erin

"At recess I was playing soccer, and near the end I slipped over the ball and my knee hyper-extended backwards and so I had to wear an ice pack for the rest of the day." -Eli

"At recess, I learned how to do the back hip circle." -Caydence

"At second recess, me, Erin, and Katie went to Mrs. Moore's class and we put papers in their mailboxes. I had to supervise 2 boys who were fooling around earlier and right when Mrs. Moore walked away, one of them whispered, 'she's weird,' and I wasn't sure if they were talking about me or Mrs. Moore." -Liz

"At the end of the day, Mrs. Byrd had us do a really fun Easter art project. We colored in a bunny that was divided into a bunch of different shapes and the background." -Erin

"For the art project, my bunny is yellow, blue and orange. The background is pink and green." -Analese

"In Quest we got to use SCAMPER to change the things in the Goldilocks story." -Cole

"At second recess, we tied for soccer. Zero to zero." -Tristin

"At second recess, me, Erin, and Katie were helping out in Mrs. Moore's class. We were checking papers to see if kids could count up to numbers in the hundreds and one of the students Erin was grading could count into the 700's!" -Liz

"At Library, Mrs. Swan was talking to us about four square problems and about people in our class taking things." -Caelen

"Today we had math in the afternoon because in the morning, we had an ELA practice test. In math, we were starting decimals and using measurement to represent tenths as decimals and it was awesome!" - Erin

"During first recess, I was about to get the ball, and when I dove for it, Evan fell on top of me so now his nickname is hippo or rhino." -Liz

"In social studies rotations, we colored in the Western Lowlands and the Cascade Mountain Range on our map." -Lila

"Today I donated 47 books for the book drive and I got 47 tickets!" -Savahna

"At lunch I was eating and my tooth was really loose so I had to go to the office and get it pulled out." -Logan

"Today I went to Mrs. Warren's class to help and they were doing math with buttons. I knew it was kind of easy so I didn't tell them the answer, I just helped. When I told them I had to go, they wanted me to keep helping them. Then I read with this little boy and he wanted me to share a seat with him but I told him I would just sit by myself." -Haylie

"We had social studies rotations and we drew a map of 5 regions and we did a trivia questions for Jolly Ranchers." -Cameron

"In social studies rotations we were naming the 5 regions. They are Colombia Plateau, Coastal, Okanagan Highlands, Western Lowlands, and the Cascade Mountain Range. I was naming them for a Jolly Rancher and I forgot the Coastal, which is the one that I know the best!" -Erin

"In social studies, the people who picked up other people's books got an extra Jolly Rancher. The people were me, Eden, Haylie, and Lila." -Savahna

"In PE we took a test about fitness." -Eli

"During writing rotations, we worked on our narratives and I really want to get done with mine because I want people to read it!" -Haylie

"In math rotations, I was in Mrs. Byrd's group and we played a game and we each got a math question. If we got it right, we got to erase two x's from other teams. My group and another group tied and we got two tickets instead of one." -Lila

"Today we had a dance party and Liz gave Ethan a chance to lead the conga line and even he thought he did a horrible job because he was going so fast he was crashing into desks!" -Caydence

"In music, we were using our recorders to do Beethoven's Fifth and Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and I did really good because usually, I'm really bad at it!" -Keilani

"In narrative writing rotations, we are writing a story to go with a picture of three dogs and a cat." -Erin

"In social studies, we played a game and each team had to think of things that humans do to the environment that are good and bad, and things that the environment does to us that are good and bad. We thought we had 55 things and people said we cheated, so I checked and we actually had 56. I did the math twice. The prize was a Jolly Rancher!" -Liz

"In math we were solving multiplicative comparison word problems involving fractions." -Lila

"Today in social studies rotations, we played a game where you wrote down clues of a place in Spokane and the rest of the class tried to guess it. Mine was very obvious. It was the clock tower." -Erin

"After rotations when we came back to class, me and a few other people were quiet waiting to come in and each of those people got 3 tickets and 1 PAWS ticket." -Cole

"In social studies when we were guessing, I had picked the
Farmer's Market and no one got me or Josh's." -Lila

"In social studies, when we were doing the guessing thing, I chose Camp Transform and nobody could guess mine." -Josh

"At recess I was playing tether ball with my friends and I got hit in the stomach and it knocked the wind out of me!" -Haylie

"At recess on the bars, me and Caydence were practicing our flips and I got the wind knocked out of me when I fell off the bar and smacked my hip really hard on it." -Lilith

"Today in social studies, I made Tristin desperate for me to pick him because it was Get Air, but instead I picked Tayah." -Caelen

"In social studies, my location was Justice and it was really easy for the boys to guess because one of my clues was 'the boys hate it.'" -Savahna 

"In PE we did rotations on two sides of the gym because the stage was in the middle for the second grade music concert. So in the middle of our PE class, we switched sides." -Eli

"Today we had a brain break called Beach Ball Fun. It's where someone throws the beach ball to you and you throw it to someone and you make a pattern. Then Mrs. Byrd times us each time and we try to break our record. It was fun!" -Caydence

"In social studies, we had this packet about latitude and longitude and we had to fill it out and 2 of the pages were about finding a place from the intersecting lines." -Erin

"At math rotations, I was in Mrs. Gil's and it was really fun because we did a whole bunch of games like Frabble and we also played White Boards Up. We were in one of the portables but after a while we had to go to the art pit because someone needed to work in the room we were in." -Liz

"At recess, I kept accidently getting myself out in four square. Like, right when I got in!" -Savahna

"At recess, I was playing soccer and we lost 3-4 and I scored all three of the goals by myself! And during social studies, since I wasn't here yesterday, I asked Mrs. Thompson what we were doing because I had no idea!" -Tristin

"I just adore my class this year. But, man, do I wish they could just be quiet in line." -Mrs. Byrd
