"In PE we were testing and so we did the trunk lift and the sit and reach and while people were doing testing, the rest of us were playing softball." -Erin

"At recess, I learned how to hang off the bar, and then you do no hands, and then you jump off." -Caydence

"In science, we were hiding two magnets in a box and then the other people had to use either the iron or the compass to find them." -Caelen

"At recess, I was playing four square with Nicole, Kinsey, Erin, Lenah, and Sarah. I was in the front of the line laying down on my stomach waiting for a ball to come and hit me in the face." -Savahna

"During our math rotations, we had a Jeopardy game and we had to get as many cards done as we could. The cards were 100 points to 1,000 points and me and Josh got third place out of everyone!" -Cole

"At math rotations, me and Roman didn't get a single problem wrong. We would look at our card and solve it, then we would go to Mrs. Markum and if we were correct, we'd get the points, and if we weren't we tried again. We got second place out of 9 tables." -Liz

Today in science we tested how strong the force of magnetism is. Explain our experiment to your parents, have them email me or write a note saying you did so, and get a free homework pass tomorrow!

"Today in science, we got to play around with the doughnut magnets and figure out what stuff didn't have iron in it if we could get it to stick to the magnet." -Caydence

"We also tried to make little chains with our magnets." -Savahna

"We figured out that holding a magnet and something that is attracted to it and then putting something magnetic on that will leave some magnetism. So then what you were holding against the magnet acts like a magnet. It's called induced magnetism. My group and Ethan and Eli made a care out of magnets and we almost got it to move, but we were a little stuck on getting the wheels to stay on." -Liz

"Me and Ashton were using a nail or paperclip to move the magnet and we did a bunch of obstacle courses and we also made the nail stand up and moved it with the magnet." -Haylie

"In PE, Miss Sandy was weighing and measuring how tall we are and while she was doing that, everyone else was playing softball and it was really fun!" -Erin

"When the girls were getting weighed and measured, Ethan hit the ball and if it goes over the blue, it's a home run and he hit it so high, but it just went down." -Cameron R.

"At recess I went on the red bars and I learned how to do watermelon backwards by myself instead of someone taking my feet and pushing them. On the yellow bars, me and Caydence were doing a lot of flips and it was really fun!" -Lilith

"In math, we were identifying and drawing parallel lines." -Lila

"In ELA rotations, we learned about the Wright Brothers and Amelia Earhart and how the Wright Brothers invented the airplane and Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic Ocean alone." -Eli

"Today we had science and we're working on magnets. When we were working with them, I think I figured out how a certain toy works. I think they use magnets to repel something on it." -Liz

"At first recess, I played basketball with Hayley, Savannah, and GG. The score was 5-4 and we won!" -Erin

"At second recess, I played Frisbee with Tristin, Alek, and Kayla. Alek through it over the fence and there was a dog and we tried to get the dog to give it back to us. It didn't work." -Analese
